Mercedes-AMG GT 

The Mercedes AMG GT is a new luxury sportscar presented in 2014 to replace the older mode, the SLS AMG. This new model is 2 doors, 2 seats coupe with an amazing design, but unfortunately for the mercedes lovers it doesn’t have gull-wing doors like the SLS. It has a lot of dynamics and mechanical improvements to take it to the next level and make it one of the best vehicle in its segment. Mercedes announced also a cabrio version n the late 2016 featuring an electrically-controlled convertible roof.

First of al let’s talk about engine and mechanics. The new AMG model was made following the traditional architecture which includes the longitudinal front-central engine. The Mercedes AMG Gt comes with RWD (rear wheel drive) and a the transmission placed on the rear axle. The chassis amd bodywork are made of casted aluminum, while the hood is made of another metal, magnesium, making it more expensive. The trunk is steel-made instead, all these characteristics make its driving style absolutely unique. The new GT made by Mercedes AMG is provided with a powerful V8 4.0 liter engine with twin turbo but different versions come with different engine versions. The basic version was provided with a 463 horsepower engine which produce 443 lb-ft of torque. Today it has 475 horsepower that produce 466 lb-ft of torque. The most powerful version instead, the AMG GT Roadster R has an incredible power of 585 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Its gearbox is a 7 speed double-clutch. The AMG GT goes from 0 to 100 kmph or 0-60 mph in exactly 4 seconds.

The Mercedes AMG GT interior is a piece of superlative luxury, it was used only the top quality of material with high quality details care. On the first hand we can appreciate the amazing seats made, such as the rest of interior, in premium leather mixed with alcantara and carbon fiber. The control panel offers three different drive settings created by AMG: classic, sport and supersports. It also feature a 10’ hi-tech multimedia display. On the right of the steering wheel, in the lower part, there is also a tip to choose the driving mode and another one on the left side to adjust settings for the suspension and the ESP and the stability control.

The Prices of luxury cars is amazing, and sportscar made by Mercedes-AMG start at 220.000$ for the base version, the most expensive version instead, the GT Roadster R, is priced at 300.000$.
